Instructions for taking a CME Course
Each CME course should take in general, about 1.5 hours to complete. In each issue of Neurology, two articles are designated for CME and together comprise the CME course for that issue.
- Each CME course generally consists of the following:
- Two full-text articles.
- CME Quiz for each article.
- Course Evaluation
- CME courses within Neurology CME can be accessed in the following ways:
- The online Table of Contents - Articles associated with a given CME course will be designated by a CME link adjacent to each article's title.
- The navigation box - Articles associated with a given CME course will have a CME link in their right-hand navigation box.
- Neurology Online CME homepage.
- The journal Neurology homepage.
- The following instructions apply:
- Select the CME Course through one of the interfaces described above.
- Read the corresponding full-text articles associated with the selected CME course in its entirety.
- After reading the articles in the course, you can access the CME quiz by selecting the "Quiz" link provided on the course contents page.
- Complete all questions on each quiz. Select SUBMIT to process your score. Note: The CME system will give an error if any questions are left unanswered.
- The correct answers will then be highlighted.
- After completing quizzes for all articles associate with a particular issue, select the "Evaluate" link to evaluate the associated CME course, or select My CME Summary to access your CME summary page that indicates credit(s) earned. There is also a link for "Request Transcript."
- CME earned through this program will take approximately one week to be reflected on your CME transcript through the AAN.
